dr Paweł Marcisz

Paweł Marcisz specializes in European Union law as well as litigation and arbitration.

He represents clients before courts in commercial matters, including proceedings related to unfair competition. He also advises on protection of personal rights.

He examines whether Polish regulations are compliant with EU law and if not advises clients on further measures to take.

He also advises clients on compliance with competition law, and drafts and reviews contracts and other commercial legal documents.

Experience and education

Paweł Marcisz joined Łaszczuk & Partners in 2008.

He is a 2008 graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration and a 2007 graduate of the Institute of Philosophy at the University of Warsaw. In 2005–2006 he studied law at Utrecht University in the Netherlands.

In 2011 he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Juridical Science at the University of Warsaw.

In 2012 he qualified as an advocate.

Social involvement/organisations

Paweł Marcisz lectures on EU Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, and lectures on jurisdiction and recognition and enforcement of judgments in the university’s postgraduate program on European law. He also gives lectures for advocate trainees.

He is a member of the European Law Society of Poland.
