Agnieszka specializes in new technologies and privacy protection law, as well as intellectual property law.

For nearly 20 years she has been advising Polish and international entrepreneurs from the IT, e-commerce, publishing, educational and pharmaceutical sector in the scope of copyright and license contracts, implementation contracts, as well as other intellectual property related contracts. She represents clients in disputes connected with infringements of intellectual and industrial property rights.

Agnieszka advises also on personal data protection, in particular, she provides assistance by GDPR implementation and conducts personal data protection audits.

She is a member of the European Law Association in Poland.

She represents Łaszczuk and Partners at Adlaw International, a global network of law firms specializing in advertising and marketing law.

Agnieszka completed postgraduate studies in new technologies law at the Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences and is currently pursuing a PhD in intellectual property law at the same institution.

  • Advising Minte.ai, an insurtech startup, on preparing contracts for the implementation of an AI-based product by Minte.ai, enabling secure processing of medical documentation and automated assessment of health damage claims at UNIQA POLSKA

  • Representing a client from the IT industry in negotiations with a leading Polish bank from an international group for a contract to deliver and launch an IT system for about PLN 40 million

  • Representing a company from the fuels sector as the plaintiff in a patent infringement dispute with one of the largest petroleum groups in Central & Eastern Europe, with an amount in dispute of about PLN 247 million; the court of first instance issued an unprecedented order securing evidence for the plaintiff

  • Representing a company from the food industry as the plaintiff in an unfair competition case involving slotting fees, ending in issuance of a judgment awarding our client’s entire claim

  • Ongoing support for a producer of television programming, part of an international group, on negotiation and drafting of contracts connected to television productions

  • Representing world-renowned producers of perfume and cosmetics in criminal proceedings over marketing in Poland of large quantities of counterfeit goods infringing the clients’ trademarks, including cooperation with customs officials and participation in investigative and judicial proceedings as counsel to the injured party

  • Ongoing advice for leading companies in a range of industries on e-marketing and data protection

  • Advice in cases involving data protection (including drafting of data protection policies and procedures and reviewing existing policies and procedures for compliance with Polish law) and legal representation before the president of the Personal Data Protection Office
